standing in line
holding my number
waiting to be called
not just thinking about the now
but also about the later
tired of wondering when
is it going to be my turn
the hands on the clock
keep moving
but i remain in the same place
i feel like i'm watching
the world go around me
as i remain on pause....

What happens when we just feel like sayin "to hell with it," and just cuttin' in line???? There have been a few times when I wanted to, but it doesn't change anything. Seems to only make it worse. I guess the key is to just be patient, hold onto that number, and wait in line...
